Dinner program and costs...

Dinner details, cost, program info being developed below... (NOTE: we have sought funds to help folks who are in tough times. If you are in such, we want you with us - pls email bonneville85@gmail.com, and we'll get you assistance with the dinner cost)

Dinner is at the Hard Hat Woodfire Grill, and it's a really laid-back but fun construction-themed restaurant.  Check it out! Very spacious, and it's cool...

Okay... so the cost for the dinner is $35/sngl and $65/couple. The dinner is the majority of that (with tip and tax it's $25/prsn). For tickets at the door, we'll be asking more than that.  We told the restaurant owner that we are hoping for/expecting to have 200 people there. We are a bit worried as to whether that's realistic, and if we are much short that, there will be additional food and opportunity cost for the restaurant that will come into play (they are shutting down the place for us...).

The dinner offering is buffet style and is awesome... some of the detail is laid out below:

entrees: salmon, prime rib, bbq chicken - (you can have any or all)

supporting cast: vegetable medley, potato bar, salad bar, dinner rolls

beverages: lemonade, punch, water (alcoholic beverages for purchase)

assorted dessert options

There should be plenty of food, and repeat visits to the food bar for those with an appetite...

Costs: there are various costs that have been or are being incurred, much of which is absorbed by the committee members

  • the database development, website development, server space, software (some of this will be ongoing, and much of this work has been done by a professional who has charged very little because he is a friend, not in the class)
  • postcard printing and mailing
  • copies, faxes, mailings, not to mention various meetings cost
  • music and PA systems
  • equipment
  • technical support for systems
  • custodial costs associated with use of the school grounds
  • doorprizes
  • numerous smaller items, such as nametags, program materials, etc.
  • numerous costs and time spent are not factored in

Evening Program will be detailed below, when we get 'er typed... includes a band and midnight pizza party

We're going to give all classmates a nametag, with picture... these nametags have more than 50 loving person hours of time and effort into them - we'd like to collect them at the end for use in a future reunion... so please help ensure we get them back!
